The Independent reports: CEO Bob Iger announced the news during a video interview with Bloomberg News, promising “more great stories with George Lucas’ Star Wars and Indiana Jones, by the way, which will be coming”.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first four films in the Indiana Jones franchise, has already hinted that he would sign on for another movie with lead actor Harrison Ford.

“As long as there’s more adventures out there, I’ve got a bullwhip, a fedora, a leather jacket and a man on a horse who knows how to get the job done,” he said in an interview with Screen International, adding that it is “certainly not [his] intention to ever have another actor step into [Ford’s] shoes in the way there have been many actors that have played Spider-Man or Batman”.

Farewell Twister - Universal Orlando (VIDEO)

Another piece of theme park history has now closed it's doors to make way for the future rides of tomorrow.

The Twister 'Ride It Out' show at Universal Orlando had it's last performance on Sunday to a packed out crowd.  The ride opened May 4th 1998 and featured the largest man made tornado that tore across a set from the movie.  The ride was more of a show and had no ride elements other than a sudden small drop where the crowd were standing.

It will now make way for a new ride called 'Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon', scheduled to open in 2017.  The ride is thought to be along the same lines as 'Soaring' at Disney's Epcot.

We'll bring you more info on attraction as and when we hear.... In the meantime, here's a little tribute video courtesy of Orlando Attractions Magazine.
